Thari-E-Ntsho is derived from chants once used by ancient Batswana poets as a form of identity and symbol of national pride. It ear marked the poets as son’s and daughters of the African soil’. African traditions are stemmed in oral history and are in danger of dying out if not recorded in secondary media. Centrally located in Maun, provides you with two and a half to three hours of a culturally immersive experience. This is a not to be missed opportunity which includes traditional drumming (experience can change depending on numbers and timing; traditional dancing and choral singing can be added for an extra fee) and conversation, and stories that explain traditional birth, puberty, clothing and wedding rites. Enjoy a traditional buffet ( own expenses) and meet and shop from inspiring, young, local artisans who showcase their creative crafts and products in a traditional market space on site. Pickup & drop off in Maun is included.
