Day 2
Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure begins today! After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel around 8:00 a.m. and enjoy a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, your guide will complete the park formalities before you set off on an exciting 6–7 hour game drive.
As you explore, you’ll be greeted by Tarangire’s iconic landscape vast plains dotted with ancient baobab trees and home to some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. The park also hosts a rich diversity of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of colorful bird species.
Around midday, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot overlooking the Tarangire River, a vital lifeline for wildlife during the dry season. Afterward, continue your game drive through the park’s beautiful terrain before departing in the evening for Karatu, where you’ll check in at your lodge for dinner and an overnight.

After a delicious breakfast, you’ll hop into your safari jeep and begin your journey to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll stop briefly (about 10–15 minutes) to admire the breathtaking panoramic views of the Ngorongoro Crater.
You’ll then continue along a rugged but rewarding route, driving for approximately 5–6 hours until you reach the Naabi Hill Gate around 2–3 p.m. Here, you’ll enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch before embarking on your evening game drive through the vast Serengeti plains.
During this 4-hour adventure, you’ll have the chance to witness some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife from lions and leopards on the hunt to elephants, giraffes, zebras, and countless antelopes roaming freely across the savanna. As the golden sun sets over the endless plains, you’ll head to your Serengeti lodge or camp, where a warm dinner and peaceful night under the stars await.

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll embark on a scenic 3-hour drive to the Northern Serengeti, home to one of nature’s most extraordinary spectacles. Here, millions of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes gather as they migrate in search of greener pastures, occasionally braving the crocodile-infested Mara River on their way to Kenya’s Maasai Mara.
The day is filled with thrilling wildlife encounters, as predators take advantage of this abundance, creating unforgettable moments of nature’s drama. Around midday, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the wilderness, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Savannah.
After lunch, the adventure continues with more game viewing, culminating in an evening transfer to your lodging in the Northern Serengeti, where you’ll relax and spend the night immersed in the heart of the wild.

Today, you’ll rise early before sunrise and enjoy a hearty breakfast before departing for the Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, you’ll descend into the Crater, taking in the breathtaking views of its walls and the morning light over the plains.
The Ngorongoro Crater is a unique wildlife haven, home to a remarkable variety of animals, including Africa’s famous Big Five lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and leopard. It’s also one of the rare places where you might spot the elusive Black Rhino.
Around midday, enjoy lunch at the hippo pool picnic site, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. After lunch, continue with a game drive through the Crater until evening, when you’ll ascend and head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
