After enjoying breakfast at your lodge, you will depart for the iconic Ngorongoro Crater, a scenic 90-minute drive through the stunning highlands. Once inside this natural wonder, you’ll have the chance to encounter an incredible array of wildlife, including the rare and elusive black rhino. Spanning approximately 20 kilometres in diameter, the crater offers a full day of exploration, so we recommend planning about 6 hours for your adventure. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the picturesque Ngoitoktok picnic site, overlooking the serene Hippo Lake. In the afternoon, continue your game drive, soaking in the breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife, before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
