You will be warmly welcomed by our Nextgen Safaris team on arrival at Entebbe International Airport who will brief you and later transfer to your hotel for a brief rest. After lunch, head out for an afternoon trip to the Mabamba Swamp, one of the best places in Africa to spot the rare and majestic Shoebill Stork. Glide through the channels in a local canoe, guided by expert birders who will help you spot a variety of waterbirds and wetland species. Return to Entebbe in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

You will spend the day exploring the city’s cultural and historical highlights, including the Kasubi Royal Tombs, Uganda Museum, and Namirembe Cathedral. Visit the Crafts Village for locally made souvenirs, then enjoy a traditional Ugandan lunch at a local restaurant. In the evening, take in the lively atmosphere of Kampala before returning to your hotel for a relaxing night.

You will enjoy a leisurely breakfast before visiting one of Kampala’s colorful local markets, such as Nakasero or Owino Market, where you can mingle with locals and shop for fresh produce, crafts, and fabrics. Depending on your departure schedule, you may also visit the Bahá’í Temple, the only one of its kind in Africa, offering panoramic views of the city. Later, transfer to Entebbe Airport for your departure, marking the end of your Ugandan adventure.
