International arrival at Dar es salaam International Airport. You will move from the internationals terminal to the domestic terminal, where you will check in for your onward flight to Mafia Island. Upon arrival, a representative from the hotel will be waiting for you for onward transfer to the lodge (30 minutes).

Full Day Relaxation on Mafia Island
Full Day Relaxation on Mafia Island
On this day, you will have your breakfast and elect to relax at the lodge or participate in various activities at the lodge. Your daily rate includes one activity per day. There are different types of activities or excursions: by boat, by 4x4 car or walking and light trekking. The activities in the marine park are: scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, and visiting the local villages. PolePole organizes boat excursions and picnics to isolated islets, sandbanks or islands every day, according to the tide. The Diving Centre provides PADI Federations certificates (medical certificates are mandatory to do a beginner's course). The excursions by 4x4 car take you right across the island through villages and changing landscapes up to the northern tip where a lighthouse stands.

Mafia Island to Dar es Salaam International Airport
On this day, your trip has to unfortunately come to an end but full of amazing memories. You will be transferred to the airstrip where you will catch your scheduled flight to Dar es Salaam. You will then make own way to the International departure terminal within the airport, to catch your homebound flight.
