Day 1

Your guide or driver will greet you and transfer you in a 4x4 vehicle from Maun International Airport or your hotel to the Thamo Telele. The estimated travel time is 45 minutes.

Once you arrive, you can start spotting various wildlife such as zebra, springbok, oryx, and eland, as well as possibly hartebeest and blesbok, before you begin your horse riding activity.

After horse riding, visitors can participate in an up-close giraffe educational experience that focuses on raising awareness of nature conservation and the plight of giraffes. You’ll learn all about giraffe conservation throughout Africa, as well as how to identify each giraffe by their distinct patterning. Each of them has a Setswana name, and, if in doubt, there is an identification book for reference.

The rates include entrance fees, guide fees, transportation from Maun, and bottled water.
