Day 2

At 8:00 a.m., we’ll pick you up from your hotel and introduce you to your guide before departing on a two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its massive elephant population and ancient baobab trees, Tarangire offers an unforgettable wildlife experience. Enjoy close encounters with elephant families and observe zebras, wildebeest, and giraffes grazing across the plains. With some luck, you may spot lions, cheetahs, or leopards. Lunch will be served at a scenic river picnic site, where you can enjoy the view and playful monkeys nearby. Later in the afternoon, we’ll continue to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we’ll depart for the Serengeti, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area on a six-hour drive. Along the way, we’ll stop at the crater viewpoint to admire its breathtaking beauty for about twenty minutes. By afternoon, we’ll arrive in Seronera, the heart of the Serengeti, where we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch before heading out for a thrilling game drive. As evening falls, witness the golden Serengeti sunset and perhaps a predator on the hunt before proceeding to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

The day begins with an early morning game drive, followed by breakfast and a packed picnic lunch. The highlight of the day is the Mara River, where you may witness the dramatic crossing of wildebeest and zebras braving the waters. We’ll continue exploring until evening, then return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay—surrounded by the sights and sounds of wildlife nearby.

After enjoying lunch in the wild, we’ll continue the adventure until dusk, then return to camp for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay under the Serengeti sky.

Ngorongoro Crater and Return to Arusha

Start your day early with a hearty breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater floor is a natural sanctuary for wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, flamingos (on Lake Magadi), and the elusive black rhino.

Enjoy a half-day game drive, with opportunities to photograph the dramatic landscape and the high concentration of animals. Stop at the hippo pool for a picnic lunch while observing hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat.

In the afternoon, begin the scenic drive back to Arusha, passing through lush highlands and local villages. Expect to arrive in Arusha by late afternoon.
