Your adventure begins after breakfast in Arusha. Depart around 8:00 AM for Tarangire National Park, a drive of approximately 2.5 hours through picturesque Maasai plains dotted with acacia trees and traditional villages.
Upon arrival, enter the park for a full-day game drive. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and over 550 species of birds. The Tarangire River, the park’s lifeline, attracts animals year-round, offering excellent photographic opportunities.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue your exploration in the afternoon. Later, drive to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay near Tarangire.

Day 2
Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most breathtaking natural wonders of Africa. Descend 2,000 feet into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive on the crater floor.
This area, often called the “Garden of Eden,” is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife: elephants, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and the rare black rhino. The crater’s permanent water sources also attract large numbers of flamingos and other birds.
Enjoy your picnic lunch by the Hippo Pool, then ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.

Day 3
Arusha to Olpopongi Maasai Village to Airport
Arusha to Olpopongi Maasai Village to Airport
After breakfast, embark on a cultural journey to Olpopongi Maasai Village, located about 1.5–2 hours west of Arusha. This authentic Maasai experience offers a fascinating insight into the traditional life of the Maasai people their customs, houses (bomas), dances, and jewelry.
You’ll be warmly welcomed by Maasai elders, enjoy a guided village tour, visit the small museum, and share stories around a traditional Maasai lunch.
Later in the afternoon, drive back to Arusha or proceed directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
