Your dedicated driver-guide will pick you up you early morning from your hotel for a scenic journey to the iconic Murchison Falls National Park—a landscape where raw beauty and untamed wilderness collide. As Uganda’s largest national park, Murchison unfolds in golden plains dotted with giraffes, lions, hartebeests, buffalo, and elephants roaming freely across the savannah. Along the Nile’s edge, expect a mesmerizing display of hippos basking in the shallows and Nile crocodiles slipping silently beneath the surface.
For avid birders and nature enthusiasts alike, the park offers sightings of over 450 bird species—including the rare shoebill stork, the dazzling dwarf kingfisher, the commanding Goliath heron, and the striking white-thighed hornbill.

Day 3

Game Drive and Boat Trip to the Base of the falls

Game Drive and Boat Trip to the Base of the falls

You'll have your breakfast and then depart for an early morning game drive across the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park. Here, you will have the opportunity to view lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffalo, and elephants. For any birder, this area supports the secretary bird and black-chested snake eagle, to name a few. You'll return to your accommodation for lunch. After lunch, you will head out for the boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls, where you will also be able to catch sight of more animals, including hippos, crocodiles, and several water birds. After the boat, you will have a game drive on your way to the lodge. You'll return to your accommodation and have a relaxed evening.

Day 4

Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Kibale

You'll start the day with a morning game drive to spot any wildlife you might have missed the previous day. Afterward, you will drive to Kibale Forest National Park, known for its population of chimpanzees.

You will check in and freshen up. Later, you will go for a walk in Bigodi Swamp, which is rich in biodiversity and scenic in beauty. This wonderful place shelters over 200 species of birds, including Hornbills, Turacos, Parrots, Cranes, Kingfishers, and many more swamp endemics. Furthermore, the sanctuary is the home of 8 species of primates, including the Black and White Colobus, Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkey, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Olive Baboon, L’hoest Monkey, Vervet Monkey, and the Blue Monkey.

The trek can vary in duration and difficulty depending on the gorilla group's location, but once you find them, you will spend an unforgettable hour in their presence, observing their behaviour and capturing memories through photographs. This is a truly magical and humbling experience, as you witness these incredible creatures in their natural habitat.
