Your adventure begins with a pick-up in Kigali. Enjoy a scenic drive through Rwanda's rolling hills before crossing into Uganda. You'll arrive at your lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for lunch. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a breathtaking, mist-covered ancient forest. In the afternoon, choose to immerse yourself in local culture with a visit to a Batwa community or a guided nature walk to a stunning waterfall. After a relaxing dinner at your lodge, you'll receive a full briefing on the next day's gorilla trekking experience.

The Ultimate Primate Encounter - Gorilla Trekking

This is the pinnacle of your tour. After an early breakfast, you'll head to the park headquarters for a 7:00 AM briefing. Then, your trek through the dense, vibrant jungle begins. The hike can be challenging but is immensely rewarding. The moment you come face-to-face with a family of mountain gorillas is pure magic. You will spend one unforgettable hour observing them as they feed, play, and interact. This is a profound and humbling wildlife encounter. After the trek, receive your certificate and return to the lodge to relive the experience over a well-deserved dinner.

Rwanda's Golden Primates and Departure

After breakfast, you'll cross back into Rwanda and head to Volcanoes National Park. Here, you will embark on a trek to find the endangered golden monkeys. Hiking through the beautiful bamboo forest is a lighter, playful experience. Watching these vibrant and acrobatic monkeys leap through the canopy is a delightful contrast to the gorilla trek. After your hour with the monkeys, you will be driven back to Kigali. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a late lunch or a brief city tour before being dropped off at the airport for your departure.
