Day 2

Okonjima

Okonjima

Today, you’ll be met at your hotel and escorted to collect your vehicle. You’ll receive a thorough introduction to your car, including guidance on setting up your tent and other essentials, before beginning your journey north. The drive from Windhoek to Okonjima takes approximately 2.5 hours.

You’ll spend your first night camping at Okonjima, a destination renowned for the AfriCat Foundation. To make your visit even more memorable, we’ve included a leopard-tracking activity, giving you a unique opportunity to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

Day 3-4

Etosha National Park

Today, you’ll travel approximately 3h north to Onguma Private Nature Reserve, located on the edge of Etosha National Park. Wildlife roams freely both inside and outside the reserve. As Onguma is a private concession, you’ll experience less tourist traffic, though you’re welcome to explore the main park at your leisure.

You’ll spend two nights here. On your second evening, we’ve included a guided sundowner drive around Onguma Private Reserve, offering a perfect opportunity to enjoy the stunning scenery and spot wildlife as the sun sets.

Day 5

Zambezi Region

Today, you’ll journey north to the Zambezi region, a drive of approximately 6 hours. You’ll spend the night at the stunning Taranga Safari Lodge, where you can watch crocodiles and hippos drifting along the river.

This evening, we’ve included a sunset boat trip, offering the perfect chance to soak in the beauty of the river and its wildlife. You’ll be roof-top camping right beside the river, falling asleep to the sounds of the Zambezi.

Day 6-7

Okavango Delta

This morning, you’ll travel east along the Caprivi Strip before crossing the border into Botswana. You’ll get a first taste of the Okavango Delta by exploring its stunning Panhandle.

You’ll spend the next two nights roof-top camping at the beautiful Guma Lagoon Camp. On your second day here, we’ve included a traditional mokoro boat trip, giving you an unforgettable experience gliding through the waterways of this unique ecosystem.

Day 8-9

Today, you’ll make your way back up the Panhandle, re-entering Namibia. You’ll spend the next two nights continuing along the Caprivi to Ngepi Camp. This unique camp offers the exciting opportunity to swim safely in a cage alongside crocodiles and hippos - an experience not for the faint-hearted!

You’ll stay in their distinctive treehouse accommodation, adding a special touch of adventure to your time here.

We’ve included a night drive for you, offering a unique opportunity to spot the park’s nocturnal wildlife and experience Nkasa Rupara after dark.

Today, you’ll continue east before crossing the border back into Botswana, entering the Kasane Forest Reserve, located between Hwange National Park and Chobe National Park. You’ll overnight in a rooftop tent at the incredible Senyati Safari Camp, which features a unique underground photography hide, perfect for getting up close and personal with the animals that frequent the waterhole.

From there, a shared transfer will take you to Victoria Falls town, where you’ll stay at the wonderful Shongwe Lookout for the next two nights. On your second day, enjoy a guided tour of the iconic Victoria Falls, followed by a relaxing sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
