Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by your professional driver-guide and transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey takes approximately 6 to 8 hours, passing through scenic countryside and rolling hills. You will cross the Rwanda–Uganda border at either Gatuna or Cyanika, complete immigration formalities, and then continue the drive through the beautiful southwestern highlands of Uganda. Lunch will be taken en route, after which you will proceed to Bwindi, arriving in the late afternoon. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay, ready for the next day’s Gorilla trekking experience in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Gorilla Trekiing, transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi’s dense rainforest. Led by experienced rangers, hike through misty trails in search of a gorilla family and spend an unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the starting point and then depart for Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Enjoy a 2-hour scenic drive through the rolling Kigezi hills, arriving at your lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the dramatic Virunga Volcanoes.

Golden monkey tracking, transfer to lake bunyonyi, Boat Cruise

After breakfast, you will head to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for a briefing before beginning your Golden Monkey Tracking adventure.
