Welcome to Uganda! Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your guide from Naleyo Tours and Travel will greet you and start your scenic drive west toward Kibale Forest National Park, often called the “Primate Capital of Africa.”
Enjoy the changing landscapes — from the lush green countryside to rolling tea plantations. Arrive in Fort Portal, a charming town near the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains, for lunch and a short rest.
If time allows, visit the crater lakes region before heading to your lodge near the forest.

After an early breakfast, join a ranger guide for your chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest.
Watch these lively primates swing from the treetops, play, and communicate — a thrilling and emotional experience. After the trek, enjoy lunch before heading south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its diverse wildlife and dramatic landscapes.
Arrive in time for an evening game drive incase time allows where you may spot elephants, warthogs, buffaloes, and perhaps a leopard at dusk.

Day 3

Rise early for a sunrise game drive through the Kasenyi Plains. Look out for lions, elephants, Uganda kobs, and colorful birdlife as the golden light paints the savannah.
In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, connecting Lakes Edward and George. Watch hippos lazing in the water, crocodiles basking on the shores, and elephants quenching their thirst — an incredible close-up wildlife experience.
Optional evening activity: Cultural village walk or traditional dance performance.

After breakfast, set off on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest via the Ishasha Sector, home to the famous tree-climbing lions. Keep your eyes peeled for these rare cats lounging in the fig trees.
Continue through the rolling highlands into the mystical Bwindi Forest — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home of the endangered mountain gorillas.
Arrive at your lodge nestled on the forest edge, surrounded by mist-covered hills.

Gorilla Trekking – Return to Entebbe
Gorilla Trekking – Return to Entebbe
Today is the highlight of your safari! After a briefing, head into the forest with your ranger guide to track a family of mountain gorillas.
Once you find them, spend a precious hour observing their gentle behavior — feeding, grooming, and playing. It’s a truly emotional and unforgettable experience.
After the trek, begin your journey back to Entebbe (approx. 7–8 hrs).
