Day 1

Your city adventure begins with a morning pickup from your hotel or Bole International Airport. Drive to Mount Entoto, the city’s highest peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Addis Ababa. Visit the Entoto Maryam Church and the small museum showcasing Emperor Menelik II’s legacy. Continue to the National Museum, home to Ethiopia’s most famous fossil, “Lucy,” and a rich collection of ancient artifacts and cultural treasures.

Next, visit Holy Trinity Cathedral, one of the most important Orthodox churches in Ethiopia, renowned for its stained-glass windows and as the resting place of Emperor Haile Selassie. Enjoy a traditional Ethiopian lunch at a local restaurant, sampling injera and authentic national dishes.
