On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met, welcomed by an assigned guide from Maraka Tours and Safaris. Thereafter, your guide will provide a detailed briefing about the day's itinerary before embarking on a scenic five-six hour drive to Lake Mburo National Park. En route, you'll stop at the Equator in Kayabwe for photography and engaging experiments. Later you’ll proceed on your journey, enjoying picturesque landscapes, arriving at Lake Mburo NP just in time for lunch. After checking in and a brief rest, you'll embark on a two-hour boat safari on Lake Mburo, offering close encounters with aquatic wildlife such as hippos and crocodiles, as well as bird species like fish eagles and kingfishers. You will enjoy photographic sessions in this beautiful Park.
On your return journey to the lodge take time to capture photographs, keeping an eye out for additional wildlife sightings en route, a perfect introduction to the next day's game drive.

After enjoying your breakfast, you’ll proceed on a game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy the whispers of the wild as you encounter many animals as Zebras, giraffes, elands, impalas, and topis and a variety of bird spp. After exit the park and proceed to Bwindi INP. You will have lunch en-route in Mbarara City or Kabale town. This journey takes you through the green rolling hills with banana and tea plantations; and snake-like winding roads of southwestern Uganda, the scenery is beautiful! On arrival, in Bwindi in the evening, check-in at the lodge, relax as you wait for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi INP
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi INP
This day is great you will go to meet the giants in their home. After breakfast, you will drive to the briefing point for registration and preparation for the days’ adventure. Accompanied by an experienced armed ranger guide you will embark on a gorilla trekking expedition, navigating dense forests and thick undergrowth in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take 4 to 6 hours or more, depending on the gorillas' movements and where they nested the previous night. Upon locating the gorillas, you will have one magical hour to observe, photograph, and immerse yourself in the presence of these magnificent yet endangered creatures.
Batwa Community Experience
This activity is optional. After trekking, you can go to the lodge to relax, thereafter visit the Batwa community, interact with them, learn their culture and buy their handmade crafts to support this indigenous most marginalized communities in this region. Go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay..

After breakfast, you will check out from the lodge and embark on a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This journey offers breathtaking views of rolling hills, lush tea plantations, and the picturesque countryside. Upon arrival, you will check in at the lodge and enjoy a relaxing lunch. Later in the afternoon, you can choose to unwind at the lodge or take a short evening game drive to spot wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and various bird species.
Dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge will prepare you for the exciting adventures awaiting in Queen Elizabeth National Park, including game drives and a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel the following day.

Start your day with an early morning breakfast, followed by an exciting game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, a renowned wildlife-rich area within Queen Elizabeth National Park. This drive offers a second opportunity to spot any wildlife that may have been missed the previous day. As the primary mating ground for grazers, Kasenyi is an excellent place to observe predators like lions and leopards on the hunt. The game drive lasts approximately four hours, providing ample time to witness the park’s diverse wildlife. After the morning adventure, return to the lodge for lunch and a short break before heading to the jetty along the Kazinga Channel for an unforgettable afternoon boat safari.
This two-hour cruise offers stunning views and close encounters with hippos, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and various water birds as they gather along the channel to drink and cool off their thirst.
As the day winds down, return to the lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner, and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, proceed on a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will search for iconic wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, and big cats like lions and leopards. The plains are also home to a variety of savanna bird species and different antelope species, including Uganda kobs and waterbucks.
Thereafter, begin your journey to Kibale Forest National Park, a place famous for its rich biodiversity and primate tracking experiences. Because of this its’ known as the Primate Capital of the World. Lunch will be served either en route or at the lodge, depending on travel timing.
Upon arrival in the late afternoon, check-in at the lodge, enjoy a relaxing evening, and conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for the strenuous chimpanzee trekking adventure ahead.

After breakfast, drive to Kanyanchu the park headquarters to join other trekkers for a briefing before setting off on an exciting chimpanzee tracking adventure in Kibale National Park. During this guided trek, you will have the opportunity to encounter chimpanzees, our closest relatives, along with several of the 13 primate species found in this park. Upon locating a chimpanzee family, you will be granted one hour to observe, interact with, and photograph these incredible creatures in their natural habitat.
After your hot lunch, proceed to a swamp walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-managed conservation area known for its rich birdlife, primates, and diverse ecosystems. This experience also provides a unique opportunity to interact with community members and learn about their local culture, and support conservation efforts through responsible tourism. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on the day’s memorable wildlife encounters.

After breakfast you’ll set off on a scenic journey of about 400 Kms to Murchison Falls NP. Along the way, pass through small towns, enjoying breathtaking views of lush green landscapes and rolling countryside.
There will be a few scheduled stop-overs for photographic sessions and bathroom breaks, with a lunch stop in Hoima City before continuing the drive towards Bulisa, offering stunning vistas of the Rift Valley escarpments and Lake Albert. Upon arrival at Bugungu Gate, enter the park and proceed to the top of Murchison Falls, the world’s most powerful waterfall. Here, witness the mighty Nile River forcefully squeezing through a 7-meter gorge, creating a spectacular display of roaring water and mist.
After this unforgettable experience, continue to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for the exciting wildlife adventures ahead in Murchison Falls National Park.

Begin your day with an early morning breakfast, and then embark on an exhilarating game drive in the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park, commonly known as Buligi. This safari offers a chance to encounter a variety of wildlife, including giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and, with a bit of luck, big cats such as lions and leopards.
After the game drive, return to the lodge for a lunch break before heading to the pier at Paraa for a memorable two-hour boat safari to the bottom of Murchison Falls. Witness the mighty Nile River as it squeezes through a narrow 7-meter gorge before exploding into a thunderous cascade, creating a truly awe-inspiring sight. During the cruise, keep an eye out for aquatic wildlife, including Nile crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of bird and butterflies species that thrive along the riverbanks. Conclude the day with a return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on the breathtaking experiences of the day.

After early breakfast begin your drive back to Entebbe International Airport. Depending on your departure time, you may choose to make an optional visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you can observe rhinos in their natural habitat.
(NB: Please note that this is an optional activity and not included in the package). The drive to Entebbe, including the visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, will take approximately 6 to 7 hours, which may result in reaching Entebbe late in the afternoon. Just in case you have a later flight, you may choose to retire at your hotel in Entebbe, based on your travel arrangements, or proceed directly to the airport for your departure.
