Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where your private safari representative will meet you and provide a warm welcome to Tanzania. From the airport, enjoy a comfortable transfer to your accommodation in Arusha, the gateway to some of Africa’s most celebrated national parks. This first day is intentionally relaxed, giving you time to recover from your journey and settle into the rhythm of Tanzania. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at your hotel or enjoy a little of Arusha before your safari begins. Your guide will also brief you about the adventure ahead and ensure everything is prepared for the following morning.

Arusha to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, your private safari begins with a scenic drive from Arusha toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. Travel through the changing landscapes of northern Tanzania, passing through the Great Rift Valley and the Ngorongoro highlands before reaching the vast Serengeti plains. As you enter the park, your safari truly comes alive, with the possibility of spotting wildlife along the way. Continue toward Central Serengeti, renowned for its year-round wildlife and exceptional opportunities to encounter lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalo and large herds of plains game. Arrive at your luxury lodge or tented camp in the evening and enjoy your first night surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Serengeti Balloon Safari & Full-Day Game Drive

Your most spectacular Serengeti morning begins before sunrise with a hot-air balloon safari. Rise early and take to the skies as the first light gently spreads across the endless plains below. From above, watch the Serengeti awaken, with wildlife moving across the landscape and the changing colours of the sunrise creating an unforgettable African panorama. After landing, celebrate the experience with a beautifully prepared bush breakfast in the wilderness. You will then continue with your private guide on a full-day game drive through Central Serengeti. Follow wildlife activity at your own pace, with opportunities to encounter lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, hippos and other iconic species. Return to camp in the evening for a peaceful night in the heart of the Serengeti.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater & Arusha

After breakfast, leave the Serengeti behind and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, continuing through some of northern Tanzania’s most beautiful landscapes. Your journey includes an unforgettable game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage landscape and one of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations. Descend into the crater and explore its fertile floor, where large concentrations of wildlife make for an exceptional final safari experience. Look out for lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos and flamingos, while your experienced private guide searches for the elusive black rhino. After the crater, ascend the escarpment and continue toward Arusha. Arrive in the late afternoon or evening, carrying with you four days of unforgettable wildlife, landscapes and experiences.
