Day 1

Zanzibar to Central Serengeti National Park

Zanzibar to Central Serengeti National Park

Upon arrival at Seronera Airstrip, our driver will warmly welcome you and begin your adventure in the world-famous Serengeti National Park, aptly named “The Endless Plain.” Renowned for its abundant wildlife, the Serengeti is home to the legendary Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo.

As a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Serengeti hosts an incredible spectacle of around 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles that join the vast herds of wildebeest in their timeless migration across the plains in search of fresh grazing. Listen to the rhythmic thundering of millions of hooves — the very heartbeat of Africa — as the wilderness comes alive around you.

After a rewarding day of game drives, unwind and relax at Land of Nature Lodge, where you’ll enjoy a tranquil evening and overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African night.

Blessed with a year-round water supply and lush vegetation, the crater sustains a remarkable diversity of wildlife.
