Day 2

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your Arusha hotel around 8:30 a.m. for a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, the vehicle’s roof will be opened to give you the best possible views during your game drive. Tarangire is famous for its impressive elephant herds, the largest in northern Tanzania, and its striking landscape of vast savannahs dotted with ancient baobab trees and seasonal swamps. You’ll also have the chance to spot lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of antelopes and gazelles. After an exciting day of exploration, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay on a full-board basis.

After breakfast, you’ll set off for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping at a scenic viewpoint to take in the breathtaking panorama of the crater. Lake Manyara NP to Arusha

Though smaller in size, this national park is among the most picturesque in Tanzania. As you explore, you may spot elephants and large troops of baboons moving through the forest, and with some luck, you might even see the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. Around the vast soda lake, a variety of wildlife thrives, including buffaloes, warthogs, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and vibrant flocks of flamingos. The shallow hippo pool is a great spot to observe these massive creatures up close, all while enjoying breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment.

Later in the day, you’ll drive back to Arusha, where you’ll be dropped off at the airport for your onward journey.
