Today, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the heart of Serengeti National Park, where you can explore its vast, iconic plains. Packed lunches will be provided for you to enjoy during the day.

The Serengeti is home to a remarkable variety of wildlife, including predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as herbivores like wildebeests. It is one of Africa’s premier destinations, offering the chance to see the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos. The park is also renowned for the Great Wildebeest Migration in the Northern Serengeti, attracting visitors from around the world.

Your day will include an exciting wildlife game drive, and you will spend the night at the Tented Lodge.

After breakfast, you will depart early and transfer to the northern Serengeti, specifically the Kogatende-Masai Mara region. Packed lunch boxes will be provided for the journey. You will spend two days in this area to fully enjoy and experience its wildlife, with an overnight stay at the tented lodge.

From early July to early October, this region is a prime spot to witness the migration of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes as they move from Kogatende to the Masai Mara, crossing the Mara River. This incredible spectacle often draws predators, including crocodiles, adding to the drama of the migration.

The day’s activities include a wildlife game drive, with accommodations at the tented lodge.

This day trip offers a front-row view of one of nature’s most spectacular events, before returning to the central Serengeti for an overnight stay at the camp.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After a hearty breakfast, you will transfer from your accommodation to the Ngorongoro Crater.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders, was formed approximately three million years ago. The crater is 610 meters deep and spans roughly 260 square kilometers, hosting a dense population of around 25,000 animals. Within minutes, you can spot wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and some of the over 500 bird species that inhabit the area. With some luck, you may even see endangered black rhinos grazing in the grass.

Following an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch, you will depart the crater in the afternoon and return to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation or the airport.
