Day 1

Zanzibar to Central Serengeti National Park

Zanzibar to Central Serengeti National Park

You’ll arrive at Seronera Airstrip in the heart of the Serengeti around 11:00 a.m., where your safari guide will welcome you. After a short briefing, enjoy a picnic lunch before setting out on your first exciting game drive.

As you explore the vast plains of Serengeti National Park, your guide will help you spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, and large herds of zebra, wildebeest, and gazelles. The Serengeti’s rich ecosystem offers incredible opportunities for photography and wildlife viewing.

Around 1:00 p.m., you’ll take a break for lunch at a scenic spot within the park. Afterward, continue your adventure, tracking wildlife and enjoying the breathtaking landscapes until late afternoon.

As the sun sets, return to Serengeti Serena Lodge or similar accommodation, where you’ll relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night in comfort beneath the starlit African sky.

Day 2

You’ll rise early for a sunrise game drive on the Serengeti your best chance to witness predators on the hunt and experience the breathtaking sight of the savannah glowing under the rising sun.

After a late breakfast, begin your journey toward Ngorongoro, enjoying a scenic en-route game drive through the Serengeti. Keep your eyes open for the Big Five, the Great Migration (seasonal), and countless other wildlife sightings.

Along the way, visit a Maasai boma to experience traditional Maasai culture join their dances, explore an authentic village, and browse local crafts and souvenirs.

Day 3

After breakfast, you’ll set out for the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, often hailed as the Eighth Wonder of the World.

Home to more than 120 species of mammals, including Africa’s legendary Big Five, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area ranks among the continent’s most iconic safari destinations. It’s one of the best places to spot the endangered black rhinoceros grazing across the open plains, and to watch pods of hippopotamuses wallowing contentedly in the cool crater waters.

From the comfort of your open-top safari vehicle, you’ll have front-row views of Africa’s most recognizable wildlife. The crater teems with predators including lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas as well as thriving herds of wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, cape buffalos, and more.

You’ll pause for a picnic lunch beside the famous hippo pool, soaking in the breathtaking scenery before beginning your return journey to Arusha Airport, where you’ll board your flight back to Zanzibar.
