Arusha Rigion to Tarangire National Park

During this season, thousands of animals migrate from the dry Maasai Steppe to the life-giving Tarangire River, creating one of nature’s most breathtaking spectacles. Spanning 2,600 sq km, Tarangire National Park is famed for its massive herds of elephants and buffalo, as well as lions, giraffes, impalas, wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles. It’s also the only park where you might spot the rare fringe-eared oryx.

By the next day You’ll also visit the historic Olduvai Gorge, an archaeological treasure in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where Dr. Louis Leakey discovered the remains of Homo habilis one of humanity’s earliest ancestors. Fossils of prehistoric elephants and giant ostriches have also been unearthed here.

After an exciting game drive in Tarangire, you’ll return to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight camping experience under the African stars.

Journey from Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park via Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you pass through the lush highlands of Karatu, the landscape gradually opens into the endless golden plains of the Serengeti the true heart of wild Africa.

You’ll journey toward the Seronera Valley, a wildlife-rich region nourished by the Seronera River, which attracts an incredible variety of animals year-round. Keep your eyes peeled for lions lounging in the grass, herds of wildebeest grazing, and perhaps even a leopard resting in a tree.

Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an unforgettable afternoon game drive across the vast savannah. In the evening, enjoy dinner and a cozy night under the stars at your Serengeti campsite.
