Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up by our professional safari guide and 4x4 safari vehicle around 04:00 AM from your residence or Dar es Salaam Airport. Begin the scenic drive directly to Mikumi National Park passing through the beautiful Tanzanian countryside dotted with villages, farmlands and rolling hills
Along the way stop for a hearty breakfast at Msolwa Restaurant fueling up for your first day in the wild
After breakfast, continue your journey to Mikumi National Park, where the excitement truly begins
You will embark on afternoon and late-noon game drive exploring the park’s vast savannahs, open grasslands and acacia woodlands. Witness elephants, giraffes browsing, zebras and wildebeests, lions and leopards patrolling their territory. Capture the magical African sunset with wildlife silhouettes painting unforgettable moments across the golden horizon
In the evening, exit the park and check in at Camp Bastian Mikumi charming mid-range lodge surrounded by nature.

Full-Day Game Drive at Mikumi National Park

After breakfast at Camp Bastian, set out for a thrilling full-day safari across Mikumi National Park. The morning is the best time to catch wildlife in action watch elephants roam in herds, lions bask in the sun or stalk prey and giraffes graze gracefully. Explore the vast Mkata Floodplain, home to zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas and monkeys.
Visit the iconic Hippo Pool, where massive hippos wallow in the water alongside crocodiles, creating a unique wildlife spectacle. Keep your camera ready as you spot a dazzling variety of birds, including secretary birds, fish eagles, hornbills and colorful weavers, filling the sky with motion and sound.
Lunch will be served at the park’s restaurant soaking in the beautiful savannah views. In the afternoon, continue your game drive across quieter corners of the park, capturing magical sunset moments as the wildlife moves against the golden light of the African plains.
Return to Camp Bastian for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast at Camp Bastian, depart for a scenic drive to the Udzungwa Mountains National Park, a hidden gem of Tanzania.

In the late afternoon, drive back to Camp Bastian, where you’ll enjoy a hearty dinner and overnight stay.

In the late morning, depart the village and drive to Morogoro town stopping at a top local restaurant for a delicious lunch.

After lunch, continue the scenic drive back to Dar es Salaam, where our representative will drop you off at your hotel, residence or airport.
