Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be warmly welcomed by a Hadza Guides Africa representative. After a short briefing, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Arusha for check-in. Spend the day relaxing and recovering from your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore Arusha town, visit local markets, or simply enjoy the lodge’s peaceful garden atmosphere while preparing for your upcoming adventure.

Arusha National Park

After breakfast, depart for Arusha National Park, located just a short drive from town. The park is a hidden gem, home to diverse landscapes ranging from lush montane forests to open savannahs and the stunning Momella Lakes. Enjoy a morning game drive where you may spot giraffes, zebras, buffalos, and various primates such as the black-and-white colobus monkey. Later, take a guided nature walk led by an armed ranger, offering a close-up view of wildlife and local vegetation. Return to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. This natural caldera hosts an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard as well as hippos and flamingos.
