4-Day Sail Okavango Reeds

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Arrival

On your first day you will be picked up at Maun Airport and driven to the Okavango Delta. On this drive to the camp you will already have the opportunity to see a lot of animals. Once in the camp, you will be welcomed by the crew and briefed by a qualified guide, concerning the skills you have to apply when going on a bush walk. After some time to relax and given supplies, you will be having your first bush walk. Back at the camp you can sit by the fire and just relax, having interesting conversations.

The tents (3x3m.) are equipped with a private veranda and a private bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet. All camp chores will be carried out by the staff.

Bush Walk and Mokoro Ride

On your second day, after waking up and getting some refreshments, you will be having a bush walk in the morning. This is a good time to spot many animals, including predators who slowly start retreating during that time of the day. Back at the camp, there will be lunch and time for relaxation. Followed by this, a mokoro ride is scheduled on which you can explore the Okavango Delta from a totally different point of view. If there is still enough time, another bush walk with more educational elements will be done.

Bush Walk, Mokoro Ride, Fishing

On the third and last full day, when you already got to know the Delta and living in the wilderness more closely, you will be having a long bush walk in the morning, after having some refreshments. This tour will again be both entertaining and educational. Back at the camp, there will be lunch, followed by relaxation time. In the afternoon, another mokoro ride will be offered plus the opportunity to go fishing.

Departure

This is the final day. After waking up you will have some refreshments and the camp crew will say goodbye before you head out for Maun.
