4-Day Sail Okavango Reeds

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Arrival

On your first day, you will be picked up at Maun Airport and driven to the Okavango Delta. On this drive to the camp, you will already have the opportunity to see a lot of animals. Once in the camp, you will be welcomed by the crew and briefed by a qualified guide on the skills you have to apply when going on a bush walk. After some time to relax and receive supplies, you will have your first bushwalk. Back at the camp, you can sit by the fire and just relax, having interesting conversations.

The tents (larger than 3x3 m) are equipped with a private veranda and a private bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. All camp chores will be carried out by the staff.

Bush Walk and Mokoro Ride

On your second day, after waking up and getting some refreshments, you will have a bush walk in the morning. This is a good time to spot many animals, including predators, who slowly start retreating during that time of the day. Back at the camp, there will be time for relaxation. Following this, a mokoro ride is scheduled, during which you can explore the Okavango Delta from a completely different perspective. If there is still time, another bushwalk with more educational elements will be conducted.

Bush Walk, Mokoro Ride and Fishing

On the third and last full day, when you have already got to know the Delta and are living in the wilderness more closely, you will have a long bush walk in the morning after having had some refreshments. This tour will again be both entertaining and educational. Back at the camp, there will be time for relaxation. In the afternoon, another mokoro ride will be offered, plus the opportunity to go fishing.

Departure

This is the final day. After waking up, you will have some refreshments, and the camp crew will say goodbye to you before you head out for Maun.
