1-Day Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable NP

• You'll be collected from the airport.

After a very early breakfast, a representative picks you up from your hotel or place of residence and drives you to the briefing point in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On arrival, you receive a briefing on the gorilla trekking experience. You are advised to carry enough drinking water and a packed lunch. Porters are available at an additional cost of USD 20 to help carry your bag and assist on steep or slippery sections of the trail.

After the briefing, you are divided into groups of up to eight trekkers and led by a park ranger into the forest. Once the gorillas are located, you spend one hour observing them in their natural habitat. Rain gear is essential, as Bwindi is a tropical rainforest. After the trek, you are transferred to Kabale or Kisoro, depending on your arrangements with the guide.
