Day 2

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Early in the morning, you’ll be picked up from your lodge to begin a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for its impressive elephant herds and stunning variety of landscapes from open savannas to seasonal swamps centered around the winding Tarangire River. You might spot lions on the hunt or leopards lounging in the trees above. After enjoying a picnic lunch and an exciting game drive, you’ll head back to the lodge for some relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we’ll depart for the central area of the Serengeti, enjoying lunch at a suitable location inside the park. In the afternoon, we'll continue with a game drive before reaching the camp. All day tomorrow will be devoted to game drives.

The Serengeti is renowned for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. Get ready to see resident predators like leopard, cheetah, and lion all fulfilling their roles in the circle of life.

After an early breakfast, we’ll head to the Northern Serengeti near the Mara River, the heart of the Great Migration. Your safari guide will take you to the best vantage points to witness this breathtaking natural spectacle.

The Great Migration is the annual movement of wildebeests, zebras, and other grazing animals as they cross the crocodile-filled Mara River on their way to Kenya’s Masai Mara. The ideal time to see this incredible event is between July and early October each yea.

After an early breakfast, we’ll set out for another game drive in the Northern Serengeti, concentrating on observing the Great Migration. Later in the day, we’ll make our way back to the Central Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay.

The Great Migration is the annual journey of wildebeests, zebras, and other animals as they cross the crocodile-filled Mara River on their way to Kenya’s Masai Mara. The best time to witness this remarkable event is from July to early October each year.

After breakfast, we’ll depart for a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater with lunch boxes in hand. This park features the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world, a natural wonder of Africa. It is home to about 30,000 large mammals year-round, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as many bird species, including flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Be prepared to see a wide variety of animals in a short amount of time.
