Chimpanzee trekking

We shall begin with an early breakfast before heading to the Kibale National Park offices for a briefing from experienced rangers. Embark on your chimpanzee trekking adventure through the dense tropical forest, following well-marked trails as you listen to the sounds of the wilderness, rustling leaves, distant calls, and bird songs. The trek can take from one to several hours, depending on the chimps’ location. Once you find them, spend an unforgettable hour observing their fascinating behaviour, grooming, feeding, playing, and communicating in complex ways. Witnessing these intelligent creatures in their natural habitat is both thrilling and humbling. The experience offers incredible photographic moments and deep insights into primate life. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you may opt for an optional top-of-the-world hike, which offers panoramic opportunities.
