After breakfast, depart Tarangire and travel toward the Serengeti National Park, enjoying game viewing along the way. Watch for elephants, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes as you traverse the scenic landscapes of northern Tanzania. Arrive in the Serengeti in time for an afternoon game drive, where you may spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, and herds of wildebeest and zebras. Day 3

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti on morning and afternoon game drives. Witness predators in action, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, and observe elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of bird species. Depending on the season, experience part of the Great Migration, with thousands of wildebeest and zebras moving across the plains. Return to Kenzan Central Tented Camp in the evening for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive from the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive, where the chances of spotting the Big Five — lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos — are excellent. Other wildlife you may encounter includes hippos, flamingos, zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor surrounded by dramatic volcanic scenery. In the late afternoon, ascend the crater and transfer to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight.
