7-Day Classic Botswana Safari with Johills

Arrival

We will pick you up early in the morning at Maun Airport and drive with you for about 1.5 hours into the beautuful Okavango Delta. Once we arrive at the camp, our crew will give you refreshments and let you rest from your journey. After lunch, we will start by showing you the environmnet with a game drive with our certified guide. At the end of this trip we will be having a sundowner before we head back to the camp. There, dinner will be served and you can sit with us at the fire place.

Game Drive and Mokoro Excursion

After waking up from your first night in the wilderness, and having had a tasty breakfast, we will be doing an exciting morning game drive with you when many animals from the night before are still roamig through the savannah. Back at the camp, you will have time for yourself before lunch is served. After that, we will do a mokoro ride with our guide. There are high chances that you will get to see many different water birds as well as hippopotamuses. After this thrilling experience, you will be briefed by our guide before doing a bush walk.

Big Cats and River Adventures

On day three and four we will be doing a day trip to Chobe National Park/Savuti which is famous for its biodiversity and has to offer various environments from wet land to swamps. Chobe also is well-known for its big elephant herds and other animals like lions, leopards, etc. who use the water system there for drinking. Furthermore, it is the oldest national park of Botswana. First, we will be doing a bush walk with our guide, and afterwards, there will be a mokoro ride. All catering and accommodation will, of course, be provided for you by us.

Boat Cruise on the Chobe River

On day five and six we will again be doing day trips to Chobe. On the Chobe River you will get to experience the highlight of the tour, which is a boat cruise. Watch out for crocodiles. After that, we will be doing a short, but fascinating bush walk with our guide, before we will bring you back home safely. Dinner will be served.

Departure

This is the day we have to say goodbye to you from your safari tour with us. After having had a nice breakfast, you will have time to gather all of your belongings, before we will bring you back to Maun on an amazing drive.
