Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Your day begins with an early departure from the accommodation as you set off on a scenic drive toward the Ngorongoro Crater for a final game drive. Descending into the world’s largest unbroken caldera and one of Africa’s Natural Wonders, you enter a remarkable ecosystem teeming with wildlife.
Explore the crater floor, where vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, and eland roam freely alongside warthogs, hippos, and large elephant bulls. The area is also home to powerful predators such as lions, hyenas and jackals making every moment exciting and unpredictable. Around the water sources, enjoy sightings of flamingos and other rich birdlife.
Midday, take a break at the Hippo Pool picnic site for a packed lunch surrounded by nature. Afterward, begin your ascent from the crater and continue your journey back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your safari experience.
