Depart Arusha early and drive to the Ndutu region in Southern Serengeti, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive. Spot lions, cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras, elephants, giraffes, and a variety of birdlife in this prime wildlife area. In the evening, check in at Ndutu Heritage Camp for dinner and overnight.

Great Migration in Ndutu

Spend the full day exploring the Ndutu plains, witnessing the movement of wildebeest and zebras during the Great Migration. Observe predators on the hunt, including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, as well as smaller wildlife such as jackals, warthogs, and bird species. Return to Ndutu Heritage Camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Ndutu – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a half-day game drive. Spot the Big Five — lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos — along with zebras, wildebeests, flamingos, and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before returning to Arusha for your onward journey.
