Upon landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. After a short briefing, you begin your journey toward Amboseli National Park, a scenic drive that introduces you to Kenya’s open landscapes. Upon arrival at Ol Tukai Lodge, take some time to settle in and enjoy the serene environment. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive. Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds and exceptional views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park’s dry plains, swamps, and acacia woodlands attract elephants, hyenas, lions, cheetahs, hippos, and hundreds of bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the wetlands where elephants often gather to drink and bathe. After a rewarding day in the wild, return to Ol Tukai Lodge for relaxation, dinner, and a peaceful overnight stay.

Transfer to Arusha

Transfer to Arusha

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive toward the Namanga border crossing. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you leave Kenya and enter Tanzania. Once immigration procedures are complete, continue driving to Arusha, a vibrant town known as the gateway to Northern Tanzania’s national parks. Upon arrival, check in at your Hotel, where you can unwind in a calm, green environment. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, either relaxing, exploring the town, or preparing for the next day’s adventure.

Today you journey to Tarangire National Park, a beautiful landscape dominated by towering baobab trees and sweeping savannahs. The park is famous for hosting some of the largest elephant populations in East Africa. Enjoy a full-day game drive where you will encounter elephants strolling across the plains, lions lounging under acacia trees, giraffes feeding on treetops, zebra herds, wildebeests, and an impressive array of birdlife. Tarangire’s river acts as a magnet for wildlife, especially during the dry season. After an exciting day, proceed to Suricata Boma Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today is dedicated to a full day of game driving across the Serengeti. Start early to catch predators at their most active time before the sun gets hot. For those seeking a once-in-a-lifetime experience, an optional hot-air balloon safari can be booked early in the morning, gliding silently over the plains as the sun rises, followed by a champagne bush breakfast. Spend the evening relaxing at Matawi Tented Camp, enjoying the campfire and the sounds of the African wilderness.

Today, you experience the thrill of Mount Kilimanjaro through a scenic day hike. After driving to Marangu Gate, register and begin your trek through lush rainforest filled with birds, monkeys, and moss-covered vegetation. The trail gently ascends to Mandara Hut, where you will stop for rest, photos, and lunch. After enjoying the cool mountain air, descend back through the forest to Marangu Gate, where your driver awaits. Return to Arusha and spend your final night at Summit Safari Lodge.
