Upon arrival at Hosea Kutako Airport, you will be met by a driver and driven to Windhoek, located just 45 minutes away. As you travel, enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding countryside, where the landscape gradually transitions from the bushveld to the more urban environment of the capital of Namibia.

After a leisurely breakfast, you are met by your guide, who will be with the group for the rest of your journey.

We begin our journey towards Otjiwa Lodge, with a stop at Okahandja, a town known for its vibrant local culture and history. Here, you can visit the Market, where you can explore traditional crafts, including intricate beadwork and colorful fabrics.

Afterwards, we head towards Otjiwa Lodge, nestled in a tranquil setting, surrounded by the natural beauty of the African bush. Once at the lodge, you’ll have a chance to relax in this peaceful oasis. You’ll have time to unwind and take in the stunning landscape before the afternoon’s game drive.

We embark on an exciting game drive at Otjiwa Lodge, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore the stunning wildlife and diverse landscapes of the reserve. Led by an experienced guide, you'll traverse the property’s rugged terrain, spotting a variety of animals including antelope, zebras, and possibly even larger predators.

This morning begins with an invigorating guided walk through the Otjiwa Reserve, where you’ll experience the bush awakening at sunrise. Accompanied by an expert guide, you’ll discover the reserve’s diverse flora and fauna up close, learning about the intricate balance of this unique ecosystem.

After the walk, the remainder of the day is yours to unwind at the Lodge. Whether you choose to relax by the pool, enjoy the tranquil surroundings, or simply soak in the atmosphere, it’s the perfect opportunity to recharge.

Following a delicious dinner, the adventure continues with an exciting night drive through the reserve. As darkness falls, the landscape transforms, offering a chance to encounter nocturnal wildlife and experience the bush in a completely different light. After breakfast at Otjiwa Lodge, we depart for Mokuti Lodge, located near the renowned Etosha National Park. The scenic drive takes you through the vast Namibian landscape, with wide open plains, sparse vegetation, and the occasional sighting of wildlife along the way.

Upon arrival at Mokuti Lodge, you’ll be welcomed by the lush surroundings and warm hospitality of the lodge. Situated just outside the Etosha National Park, the lodge offers a perfect base for exploring the park. After check-in, you can relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, or perhaps take a dip in the pool, before depart on our first exciting safari adventure into the Etosha Park.

Today we embark on an exciting journeys to explore the eastern part of Etosha National Park, one of Namibia's premier wildlife destinations. Our adventure takes us to several of the park's most renowned waterholes, where we can relax in the serene surroundings and observe a variety of wildlife. At these watering spots, animals come to drink and cool off, offering a unique opportunity to witness natural behaviors up close. Throughout the day, we'll have the chance to see an array of African wildlife.

If we're fortunate, we might also catch sight of some of Etosha's more elusive predators. With a bit of luck, we could spot powerful lions basking in the sun, cheetahs sprinting across the open plains, or even the elusive leopard stealthily moving through the bush.

Our journey today will provide a true sense of the wilderness and biodiversity that makes Etosha National Park such a unique and captivating destination for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts alike.

Day 6

Eastern Etosha to Halali

Eastern Etosha to Halali

After breakfast at Mokuti Lodge, we set out through the eastern gate of Etosha National Park, beginning our journey toward Halali. The drive itself is a safari, with opportunities to stop at waterholes such as Klein Namutoni and Chudop, where elephants, giraffes, and antelope often gather in the morning light. As we continue westward, the road leads us past Okevi and Okerfontein, areas renowned for predator sightings, offering the chance to witness lions resting or stalking their prey.

We arrive at Halali Camp around noon, centrally located within the park. After settling in, there is time to relax before leave on an afternoon drive.
After dinner, the day concludes with a visit to the floodlit Moringa waterhole, where nocturnal animals such as hyenas, elephants, and occasionally leopards emerge from the darkness, offering a magical end to a day rich in wildlife encounters.

Today we continue towards the Okaukuejo region. As we make our way through the park, the changing scenery and abundant wildlife will provide plenty of photo opportunities. Whether it’s the dry, dusty plains or the lush pockets of vegetation surrounding the waterholes, every corner of Etosha offers something spectacular.

In the late afternoon, we will head to our accommodation located just outside Anderson Gate. Here, we will check into the Etosha Safari Camp, where you can unwind and relax after an exciting day of exploration.
The evening comes alive with live local music around the fire, creating a warm and vibrant atmosphere where stories are shared, laughter flows, and the rhythm of Namibia sets the tone for an unforgettable night.

We leave Etosha Park and make our way to Kaoko Bush Lodge, where we arrive around midday.

In the afternoon we take a short drive to a Himba village nearby. Immerse yourself in the rich culture and heritage of the Himba people, one of Namibia's most famous indigenous tribes. This unique afternoon experience offers the opportunity to learn more about the Himba way of life, traditions and customs while engaging with the community in an authentic and respectful way. Return to Kaoko Bush Lodge around sunset.

From Twyfelfontein, we journey towards Swakopmund through Namibia’s stunning landscapes. Crossing Damaraland’s rugged hills and ancient rock formations, we enter the Skeleton Coast National Park, where wild Atlantic shores meet towering dunes. The drive reveals shipwrecks, seal colonies, and the stark beauty of one of the world’s most desolate coastlines. Heading south, we pass Brandberg Mountain, Namibia’s highest peak, before reaching Hentiesbaai, where desert meets ocean.
A short drive from there, lies the Zeila Shipwreck, a cargo vessel stranded in 2008, now a striking landmark and photographer’s favorite. Continuing past Wlotzkasbaken, a quiet coastal retreat once a fishing village, we arrive in Swakopmund. Here we check into our accommodation and unwind before exploring the town’s vibrant attractions, from its museum and shops to the lively beach promenade.
