7-Day Nxai Pan, Kubu Island, and Makgadikgadi Pans

Arrival

Our partner's crew will pick you up early at Maun Airport and then drive with you to Nxai Pan Camp for abot 2 to 3 hours. There you will have time to get settled before going on an exciting game drive in this unique landscape of Botswana. At the end of the drive, there will be a sundowner. Back at the camp, you can enjoy a tasty dinner.

Nxai Pan

On your second day, after waking up to the sound of different birds, and having had breakfast, there will be another game drive to show you more of this fascinating land. Back at the camp, lunch will be served, before you will head out with the crew to another adventure, which is camping at Kubu Island. Once you arrived there after driving for about 3 to 4 hours, you will have time to get accustomed to the new environment and the camp.

Kubu Island

On this day you will be doing a game drive to to explore Kubu Island with its iconic baobab trees, amazing clear sky, and vast expanses of savannah and salt pans. Of course the camp crew will cater to all of your needs and assist you during your entire stay. There will be two game drives on this day with time in between for resting.

Last Day at Kubu Island

On your last day on this, for the San Bushmen or Basarwa people sacred island, you will be having another game drive, after breakfast, of course. Once back at the camp, a fine lunch will be served before heading out to the greater area of the contrast-rich Makgadikgadi Pans. You will arrive later in the afternoon at a new camp.

Makgadikgadi Pans

After waking up and having had breakfast, there will be a game drive in the well-known Makgadikgadi Pans which have the largest salt pans on earth. Many migrating birds, as well as zebras and wildebeests can be spotted there. Back at the camp, you will be having lunch and later on another game drive with a sundowner at the end.

Departure
