Day 1

You will be warmly picked from the airport in the morning upon arrival and begin a beautiful drive to Lake Manyara National Park, carrying packed lunch boxes for the day. As you get to the park, you’ll experience its lush forests and diverse wildlife. Lake Manyara is well known for its unique lions that often rest on branches and for the large troops of baboons that live throughout the woodland areas. These baboons are commonly seen along the roadside, creating lively scenes as you make your way deeper into the park. After enjoying a rewarding game drive across the park’s varied landscapes, including forest, acacia woodlands, and the lakeshore, you will continue to your lodge. There, you can unwind, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner, and settle in for a peaceful overnight stay surrounded by the natural beauty of the Manyara ecosystem.

Begin your day with an early morning game drive across the Serengeti’s expansive plains, giving you the best chance to spot wildlife at its most active. After the experience, you’ll travel to Karatu with you packed lunch boxes, where you’ll have your overnight stay close to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Staying here allows for an early descent into the crater the following morning, a prime time for wildlife viewing.

The Serengeti is celebrated for its immense seasonal migrations of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes. You may also encounter the park’s powerful predators; lions, cheetahs, and leopards each contributing to the natural balance of this remarkable ecosystem.

After enjoying breakfast, you will make your way to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a comprehensive game drive.
Ngorongoro is famed for being the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera and is often regarded as one of Africa’s greatest natural treasures.

It supports an impressive resident population of animals, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, and the rare black rhino. The crater is also a haven for birdlife, attracting flamingos, raptors, and many other species. Its concentrated wildlife makes it one of the few places where you can encounter an extraordinary variety of animals within a remarkably short period.

When your exploration of this extraordinary landscape concludes, you will be driven to Arusha and then transferred to the airport/ your preferred hotel, marking the end of your safari journey.
