After an early breakfast, drive to the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro for a day hike on the Marangu Route one of the mountain’s most scenic and accessible trails. Walk through lush rainforest alive with birds, monkeys, and waterfalls as your guide shares the mountain’s geology and cultural significance. Reach Mandara Hut or the Maundi Crater viewpoint for sweeping vistas before descending. Return to Arusha in the late afternoon for dinner and another restful night.

Arrive in the central Serengeti by midday and enjoy another afternoon game drive before settling into your lodge or camp. The Seronera Valley is famous for its resident big cats and abundant year-round wildlife.

The crater floor is home to an astonishing concentration of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalo, hyenas, hippos, and thousands of grazing herbivores. Enjoy a full game drive with a picnic lunch near a hippo pool. In the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and continue to your lodge in Karatu, a charming highland town surrounded by forests and farms. Dinner and overnight in Karatu.
