Your safari begins with a scenic journey north toward Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walking experience with the only wild rhinos in Uganda. Continue to the park and visit the top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile forcefully squeezes through a 7-meter gorge, creating a roaring natural spectacle. Enjoy sunset views over the savannah and settle into your lodge for the night.

Day 2

Rise early for a classic savannah game drive on the northern banks of the Nile. Look out for elephants, lions, Rothschild giraffes, buffalo, hartebeest, and a rich assortment of birds. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari to the base of the falls, cruising past hippos, crocodiles, and nesting kingfishers. An optional guided hike leads you back to the top, offering unforgettable viewpoints and photo opportunities before returning to the lodge.

Day 3
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through verdant villages, rolling tea plantations, and panoramic Albertine Rift Valley scenery. This long but beautiful journey offers insight into rural Uganda. Arrive in Queen Elizabeth NP and enjoy an evening game drive, spotting herds of elephants, Uganda kob, buffalo, and if lucky see lions preparing for their night hunt. Check in at your lodge for dinner and over stay.

Today begins with a sunrise game drive on the Kasenyi plains, one of the best areas in Uganda to see lions, especially around kob breeding grounds. Keep an eye out for leopards, hyenas, warthogs, and grazing herds. After lunch, head for a leisurely boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, famous for its dense concentration of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffalo, and vibrant birdlife. The channel is a magnet for wildlife and incredible photograph.

Head south through the remote Ishasha sector, known worldwide for its rare tree-climbing lions, often seen lounging in fig and acacia branches. Enjoy a game drive in this serene wilderness before continuing to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. As the landscape shifts to terraced hills and thick jungle, your anticipation builds. Leave the forest behind and drive through stunning highland scenery toward Lake Bunyonyi, “the lake of little birds.” This crater lake is dotted with 29 tree-covered islands and is one of Uganda’s most peaceful destinations. Check into a lakeside lodge, enjoy boat ride arond the Islanda, swimming, or simply soaking in the tranquility. Optional activities include zip-lining across the water or visiting a local school. A perfect setting to unwind after gorilla trekking.

Today is intentionally slow and restorative. Spend the day exploring the islands by canoe, take nature walks, or visit communities for cultural experiences.
