Arrival in Kigali International Airport & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable NP(Approx 5hrs drive)

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, our company representative will be waiting to receive you.
Visa to Rwanda upon arrival at USD 50 per person.
For easy identification, they will be holding a placard with your names. After loading bags into the vehicle, you'll start your transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The drive will cover approximately 173 Kms which is approximately 4 hours via the Cyanika border point for immigration.
There will be a stop for lunch and a pre-safari briefing, and any questions will be answered and clarifications made to make sure the safari starts great.

We recommend that you apply for your visa to Uganda online before your arrival.
Continue to Travellers Rest Hotel and, with the assistance of the driver-guide, check in and have an early rest in anticipation of the next day. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Travellers Rest Hotel - Kisoro.

Bwindi Gorilla Trekking & Cultural Walk

After an early morning breakfast, with your packed lunch plus enough drinking water provided by the hotel, well-charged cameras, and a rain jacket, drive to the park headquarters for the gorilla briefing before you start the trek. At the headquarters, a briefing on the tracking etiquette starts before 8:00 am local time. During the briefing, a total of 8 tourists are allocated a single gorilla family to trek according to fitness levels.

Trekking in Bwindi is unpredictable because of the movement behaviors of the gorillas. Therefore, the activity lasts from a few hours to an entire day. These hours are spent in search of the gorillas; however, only 1 hour is spent in the presence of these gentle giants. At the end, you'll return to the park headquarters, where you receive a Uganda gorilla trekking tour certificate. You will later be transferred to the hotel for a hot meal. Later, you'll go on an evening cultural tour. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Travellers Rest Hotel.

Kigali City Tour & Departure Flight

After an early breakfast, you will check out and once again cross back into Rwanda via Cyanika Border point, proceeding to Kigali International Airport. You'll have lunch in Kigali, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial & Inema Art Centre.
After the city tour, you'll transfer to be on time for your departure flight.
