Arrive Kigali International Airport & transfer to Bwindi (Approx 5hrs drive)

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport our Company Representative will be waiting to receive you.
Visa into Rwanda is upon arrival at Usd 50 per person.
For easy identification they will be holding a placard with your names and after loading bags into the vehicle start your transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The drive will cover approximately 173 Kms which is approximately 4hrs via the Cyanika border point for immigration.
There will be a stop for lunch and pre-safari briefing and have any questions answered & clarifications made to make sure the safari starts of great.

We recommend that you apply for your visa into Uganda online prior to your arrival.
Continue to Travellers Rest Hotel and with assistance with the driver guide check-in and have an early rest in anticipation of the next day. Dinner and overnight at Travellers Rest Hotel - Kisoro.

Bwindi Gorilla trekking & Cultural walk

After an early morning breakfast, with your packed lunch plus enough drinking water provided by the hotel well charged cameras and rain jacket drive to the park headquarters for the gorilla briefing before you start the trek. At the headquarters, briefing on the tracking etiquette starts before 8:00 am local time. During briefing, a total of 8 tourists are allocated a single gorilla family to trek according to fitness levels.

Trekking in Bwindi is unpredictable because of the movement behaviors of the gorillas and therefore the activity lasts from a few hours to an entire day. These hours are spent in search of the gorillas however only 1 hour is spent the presence of these gentle giants. At the end you return to the park headquarters where you receive a Uganda gorilla trekking tour certificate. You will later be transferred to the hotel for a hot meal and later go for an evening cultural tour.

Kigali City Tour & Departure flight

After early breakfast, check out and once again cross back into Rwanda via Cyanika Boarder point proceeding to Kigali International Airport. Have lunch in Kigali, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial & Inema Art Centre.
After the City tour transfer to be intime for your departure flight.
