Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari representative and transferred to your lodge. Take the rest of the day to relax after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short briefing about the upcoming safari, a leisurely walk around the lodge, or simply unwind with views of the surrounding landscapes.

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you’ll depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees and one of the largest elephant populations in Tanzania. Enjoy a full-day game drive as you explore the vast savannahs, river areas, and woodlands. Look out for lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and the impressive concentrations of wildlife near the Tarangire River.
Lunch will be served at a picnic site inside the park, and in the late afternoon, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater

Today you descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, often described as a natural wonder of the world. The crater floor is home to an incredible density of wildlife, including lions, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, and large herds of wildebeest and zebra. Enjoy a full game drive with a picnic lunch near a hippo pool.
In the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and return to your lodge for a relaxing evening.
