Today is a highlight of the entire safari. At first light, you descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, entering a world unlike any other. Inside this ancient caldera, wildlife thrives in remarkable density: lions resting in the grass, hippos wallowing in freshwater pools, buffalo grazing nearby, and, with luck, the rare and majestic black rhino.
