Nairobi to Masai Mara

Pick up early in the morning from the Nairobi CBD area along Biashara Street and embark on your safari to the Masai Mara National Reserve, which is a 6-hour drive from Nairobi. On your way, you will enjoy the scenic views of the Nairobi suburbs, beautiful Savannah grasslands and the plains of the Great Rift Valley. You will make a short stop at the Great Rift Valley for a bathroom break and photography. Your expected time of arrival should be in time for lunch. Check in at the lodge or camp, and after a warm meal, refreshment and slight relaxation, you will go out for the first game drive of the day. The Masai Mara is well known for its vast wildlife range, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, hippos and many more. After an adventurous game drive, head back to the lodge for an overnight stay.

Full Day in Masai Mara

Have breakfast and leave the camp with packed lunch, i.e food in take-away boxes. This is because you will spend the whole day in the park in search of animals like lions, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, and many more. Lunch will be held under a Croton Tree in a picnic setting as you enjoy the nature that surrounds you. After an amazing full-day game drive, head back to the lodge for an overnight stay. A bonfire may be organised if the weather permits.

Masai Mara back to Nairobi
