Day 1
On this day, you'll wake up early at 4:00 am. You'll then board a vehicle and embark on a 3-hour journey to Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival at the park headquarters, you'll undergo a briefing about the gorilla trekking rules and regulations. After that, you'll be grouped in 8 by the guides, and then, you'll follow your guide and ranger to the forest in search of the mountain gorilla family. After finding the gorillas, you'll spend an hour in their presence, monitoring their behavior and taking photos. After that, you'll trek back to the starting point, and then embark on a journey back to Kigali, where your guide will drop you off either at the hotel or airport, depending on your choice. This will mark the end of the 1-Day Volcanoes Gorilla Tour.
