The day begins with an early departure from your lodge, heading into Etosha National Park for a 4-hour guided game drive. Accompanied by an experienced professional guide, you will explore Etosha’s vast open plains, mopane woodlands, and renowned waterholes that attract a rich variety of wildlife. During the drive, you may encounter wildlife movements. Regular stops at waterholes provide excellent opportunities for photography and observation, while your guide shares insights into animal behavior and the unique ecosystem of Etosha.
After exiting the park, the journey continues westward toward the Brandberg area, home to Namibia’s highest mountain and one of its most striking natural landmarks. The drive offers changing scenery—from Etosha’s flat savannah to rugged hills, open desert plains, and granite outcrops—showcasing the country’s remarkable geological diversity. Along the way, there may be short comfort or photo stops to stretch your legs and enjoy the landscape.

Day 9-10
Swakopmund

The first stop is a Himba village, where you are introduced to one of Namibia’s most iconic indigenous communities. Guided by a local host, you learn about Himba traditions, daily life, dress, and customs, gaining insight into a culture that has remained largely unchanged for generations.
The journey continues to Brandberg Mountain, Namibia’s highest peak and a site of great archaeological importance. Here, you enjoy a guided walk through a scenic gorge to the famous White Lady rock painting, a remarkable example of ancient San rock art.
After Brandberg, you travel westward toward the Atlantic Ocean to visit the Cape Cross Seal Reserve. This coastal sanctuary is home to one of the world’s largest Cape fur seal colonies.
The final journey follows the coastline before turning inland to Swakopmund. Arriving in the late afternoon, you are welcomed by this charming seaside town known for its blend of German colonial architecture, ocean views, and relaxed atmosphere.

Travel to the Sesriem area, gateway to the famous Sossusvlei. In the late afternoon, there is time to relax while the changing colors of the desert at sunset create exceptional photo opportunities. Dinner is enjoyed at the lodge, followed by a peaceful night under Namibia’s clear, star-filled skies.
An early morning start takes you into Namib-Naukluft National Park to explore Sossusvlei and Deadvlei at the best time of day, when the dunes glow deep red in the soft morning light. Climb the Dune 45 or Big Daddy, for panoramic views across the desert. Walk through the surreal white clay pan of Deadvlei, dotted with ancient camelthorn trees.
Visit Sesriem Canyon, a narrow gorge carved by the Tsauchab River, offering insight into the geological history of the region. After lunch return to your lodge.
