Day 2

Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will head to Tarangire National Park for an exciting wildlife game drive. The park is famous for its large elephant herds and beautiful baobab trees. During your drive, you may see lions, leopards, giraffes, and many other African animals in their natural home. Around midday, you will enjoy a picnic lunch, then continue exploring the park until late afternoon. After the game drive, you will be transferred to Mto wa Mbu Ngare Lodge for a relaxing evening. The Tarangire River, whose name comes from “Tara” (river) and “Ngiri” (warthog), adds a special touch to the park’s natural and cultural beauty.

After a relaxed breakfast, you will embark on a final early morning game drive in the Serengeti before proceeding toward Ngorongoro. Upon arrival at the crater rim, descend 600 meters into this immense caldera, often called the world’s largest natural zoo. The crater floor provides excellent opportunities to observe rhinos, lions, elephants, hyenas, buffalo, and hippos.

Ngorongoro Crater is among the most remarkable landscapes on Earth, featuring a dormant volcano surrounded by breathtaking scenery. It is home to the Big Five elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, and rhinos, alongside tens of thousands of other animals and a wide variety of birds.
