Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Depart Kampala early and drive southwest through Uganda’s scenic countryside and rolling hills. Stop at the Equator line for memorable photos before continuing through Mbarara for lunch. Journey into the picturesque Kigezi Highlands, often called the “Switzerland of Africa,” with its terraced hills and lush landscapes.

Arrive at your lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for dinner and an overnight stay, ready for the next day’s gorilla tracking adventure.

Gorilla Tracking Experience

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing. Begin your trek into the misty forest in search of a mountain gorilla family. Once found, spend up to one hour observing them. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation, or explore a nearby community walk depending on your energy level. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
