Day 1

The flight from Zanzibar Airport will depart around 7 am. You'll fly from Zanzibar to Mafia Island in around 45 minutes to land on the beautiful paradise island of Mafia. Here, you'll be picked up by our driver and brought to the beach to continue your travel on the water. Our guides communicate with other guides to have the best chance possible for you to see the 10 to 15 m large whale sharks and also for not being to much people at one site. The well-being of the whale shark always comes first. You will be given the option to swim with them, which is completely safe. No experience is needed.

After this extraordinary experience, we will go back to the beach to have a delicious lunch and have a relaxing afternoon to try to wrap your head around what you've just witnessed. Around 3 pm, our driver will bring you back to the airport to fly back to Zanzibar.
