On this day, you'll arrive at Entebbe International Airport and meet your tour guide, who shall transfer you to your hotel to check in. Thereafter, you'll have a tour of Entebbe city and do some local currency exchange, and, where necessary, some local shopping for items you might need for your safari. Later, you'll have a guide briefing for the safari plan.

Day 2
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early morning break, you'll head out with your guide on the day's transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It's a long drive, hence you have to set off early in the morning and get to the lodge in the early evening. You'll also have the option of transfer by domestic air, which eases the travel and prepares you for the next day's Mountain Gorilla trekking. After checking into the lodge, you might have time to do a local community activity and visit the Batwa community in Bwindi.

Day 3
Mountain Gorilla Trekking
Mountain Gorilla Trekking
On this day, you'll wake up early, have breakfast, and then head out to the briefing point for the great mountain gorilla trekking activity, which can take from half a day to a whole day depending on which sector and family of gorillas you're trekking. Uganda is home to the largest number of mountain gorilla families. As such, you will get to experience one gorilla family for one hour upon sighting the family.

Day 4
Transfer back to Entebbe
Transfer back to Entebbe
After your major highlight of trekking mountain gorillas in Uganda at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Now you embark on a journey back to Entebbe to catch your connecting flight back home. It is a long drive, and that is why we prefer to transfer by domestic flight, but if you are happy to tour Uganda's countryside, then it is advisable to do a road transfer. En route to Entebbe, you'll stop at the Equator to experience it and take photos.
