Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Everything seems to be cast on a grander scale in Tarangire National Park, from the giant baobab trees that bring such
personality to the park's landscapes to the massive elephants for which the park is famous. Although a popular place to
visit for travelers on safari through northern Tanzania, Tarangire rarely feels crowded, and that becomes even more
true the further south you go in the park. Other wildlife to look forward to here includes big cats, zebra, hippo, buffalo,
wildebeest and more. If you're really lucky, you might spy the park's transient population of African wild dog.

Karatu to Central Serengeti

It's time for you to get to know the Central Serengeti, one of the most wildlife-rich places in all of East Africa. All three big cats are commonly seen, as are many other animals, and the savannah grasslands interspersed with signature acacia trees is classic safari terrain. It can get busy, but it's a vast area where you can easily find some solitude.

Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Opt for a sunrise game drive, when big cats like cheetahs and leopards are most active, then return to your accommodation for a hot breakfast.

In the late morning, drive out of Serengeti, back through Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

You may camp within the Conservation area, or select from one of our beautiful partner lodges, situated just outside of Ngorongoro Crater.

Option to add a day hike to view the beautiful Olmoti Crater (approx 1-2 hrs hike), and stretch your legs. Additional fees may apply.
