Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Zanzibar Airport, where you will board a small plane to the Serengeti airstrip, arriving in the late morning (flights may transit through Arusha). Upon arrival, you will begin your game drives, followed by lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy an evening game drive and witness a breathtaking Serengeti sunset, creating an unforgettable start to your safari adventure.

Enjoy a full day exploring the iconic Serengeti National Park, home to abundant wildlife and breathtaking landscapes, Experience morning and afternoon game drives in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and many other species in their natural habitat. For those wishing to see as much as possible, a full-day drive is recommended.

Optional: Begin your day with an early morning hot air balloon safari for a unique perspective of the Serengeti at sunrise. After the balloon ride, continue with your game drives.

Return to your lodge in the evening to relax and reflect on an unforgettable day of wildlife adventure.

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will begin a scenic transfer game drive to Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, you will descend into the crater in search of the elusive black rhino, one of Africa’s most challenging animals to spot. Within this breathtaking crater, often referred to as Africa’s “Noah’s Ark,” you will have the opportunity to see a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, hyenas, big cats, rhinos, and more.

In the afternoon, enjoy lunch by the hippo pool, followed by an additional game drive as you ascend back to the crater rim. You will then continue to Mto wa Mbu Ngare Lodge for your overnight stay, concluding a memorable day of exploration and wildlife viewing.

Tarangire National Park - Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, you will head to Tarangire National Park, a stunning destination known for its large herds of elephants, baobao trees, and diverse wildlife, including lions, big cats, and more. In the afternoon, enjoy lunch at the Tarangire River picnic site, followed by another game drive to further explore the park. Afterward, you will drive to Arusha Airport for your early in the evening flight back to Zanzibar, concluding your memorable safari adventure.
