Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Your luxury safari begins with a morning departure from Nairobi, driving through the Great Rift Valley with scenic viewpoints en route. Arrive at the Maasai Mara in time for lunch at the lodge and a short rest. In the late afternoon set out on your first game drive where early sightings often include grazing herbivores and plains predators preparing for evening activity. Return to the lodge for a gourmet dinner and a peaceful night under African skies.

Full day Maasai Mara exploration

After breakfast enjoy a full day of game drives in the Mara with your expert guide, tracking big cats, elephants, buffalo and the region’s abundant plains wildlife. A picnic lunch at a scenic spot (or return to the lodge for lunch) gives time to rest and take in the Mara River views where hippos and crocodiles may be seen. Continue afternoon and sunset game drives, then return to the lodge for sundowners, dinner and lodge comforts.

Sunrise drive & return to Nairobi

Rise early for a sunrise game drive—prime time for predators and dramatic light for photography.
